Prizes will be awarded to the top three cosplays, as determined by our judging panel. The prizes are as follows:
- 1st Place: Anime Destiny lifetime pass + AD Merchandise + Stickers
- 2nd Place: AD Merchandise + Stickers
- 3rd Place: AD Merchandise
Depending on attendance, separate first place prizing may be awarded to both the best store-bought and the best handmade costumes. The full rules may be read on the sign-up form.

Hey, I’m aeson_coser, and I’m super excited to be a cosplay competition judge at Anime Destiny this year! I’ve been cosplaying for seven years, but it’s really been the past couple of years where I have definitely improved. Right now, I’m working on cosplays for Nana, Karlach, and Pomni. I’m also a huge fan of Final Fantasy, Arcane, and Digital Circus! I’m really looking forward to seeing what everyone brings to the stage!

Hi, I'm Daniel! I'm currently the Vice-President/Treasurer for CAA. Last year, I was an Anime Destiny planner and I co-hosted the 2023 cosplay contest. I cosplay casually whenever I get the chance and I love attending conventions to meet new people! I look forward to AD 2024!

Hallo! I’m nomi, a Bay Area based craft cosplayer. When it comes to making cosplays, I love figuring out how to interpret non physical design elements to real life. I personally prefer a live action interpretation of a character’s design rather than a strict following of a stylized appearance, and enjoy taking inspiration from film. Outside of cosplay, I love drawing, playing video games, and talking about physics - if you need someone to help you navigate studying physics at UCB and get research, let me know. Or if you want someone to join your Baldur’s Gate 3 co-op campaign, I’m also available for conscription.
